We are the Hobson family and we have been a part of the Malibu boat family from Mid-Indiana Marine since 2016. Our first true wake boat was the Axis A22. We all learned to surf right away, our boys were 12,10 and 8. Even then other people on our lake noticed the large wave it produced. Like everyone noticed! As the technology progressed, we made the big step up to the Malibu 23 LSV in 2018. The hull design and the touch screens were an absolute game changer creating a massive wake. It automatically generated whatever we desired. Our surfing skills elevated each season. And once again the entire lake community took notice. Year after year. Comes 2024 with our new Malibu M220 and our waves our epic and out of control! Simply, many riders say the wave is too big! Never seen anything like it. Can a wake be too big? Of course not. To trust the M220 could provide a bigger, longer and more efficient wave was something that we could only experience to actually believe. We noticed right away it's much quieter, with much more fuel economy by at least 25% than our previous model. The electronics and software are improved, super easy to manage the best wake. Best wake on the lake once again and it's not even close! Thank you Mid-Indiana Marine and Malibu Boats. The sickest wave you can buy! Period.

Their response time was within a day after talking with them. They offer a texting service, where you can send images and videos to help diagnose the problems. George in sales great to work with. We purchase our boat at a boat show , he did a great job taking time to explain all of the available options, he helped guide us into the options that were best for my family and I. He also spent time with us to help select the best wake surfing boards and accessories. The team also made it possible for us to make a trip to the Malibu factory to see our boat in production. When we started looking for a new boat I reached out to over 15 different marinas across the Chicagoland area, and including marinas in Indiana and Wisconsin. When I came across Mid-Indiana Marine it was clear that they knew what they were doing, and that we should buy our boat from them. Having owned 6 different boats from a jon boat up to a deep v outboard we decided we wanted to get a boat that would do it all. Went to our local Yamaha dealer and decided on a 21 that would do it all, so they said. We owned the boat for about 11 months and decided we wanted to surf. We got all the ballast bags that went on the deck and the wake wedge that had to be manually put on then went to the lake. Spending the first half of summer on the boat constantly moving people around to get to pumps, bags, weights, deflectors and anything else we could find to get a surf wave. After we got the boat setup we started having issues with cavitation of the jet pumps and still had a minimal wave. We decided to look at other options. I got on the internet and was blown away by the wave that the Axis and Malibu boats would throw. There is a Malibu factory tour video online that really shows why you should buy their product, everything is made in house by American workers. Put In a request for more information about a boat Mid-Indiana marine had online, George called me shortly after around 7pm. We went to Mid-Indiana Marine to look at the Axis line of boats and then a pretty Malibu caught our attention. We wanted a push button surf boat that would fit all of our needs without having all the monkey motion that the Yamaha took to surf. The Malibu we looked at was the 21MLX, after seeing the upgrades from the Axis to the Malibu we were sold. The touch screen control is so visually pleasing and easy to use. After using the competitions touch screens I really learned to appreciate the ease of use that Malibu incorporates in all their boats, literally two touches on the screen and the boat sets itself up to surf. When we picked the boat up during the on water delivery with George we were blown away by the boat, the wave was awesome! In the first weekend we had the boat we hit 12 hours and bam it was time for the first service. The service department got us in and out in a couple hours and back on the water we went. I highly recommend the plug and play ballast system, it really helps make the wave exceptional. In 5 weeks we have put 50 hours on the boat and we are really not looking forward to winter. This boat is perfect for the family, we can tube, kneeboard, ski, wakeboard and most of all surf! All of our friends have been beyond impressed with the boat. Plenty of storage onboard and there is truly a place for everything. The family that bought our Yamaha has become good friends of ours and they are already thinking about shopping for a Malibu after spending a weekend on ours. This boat is truly our familys happy place. My only regret with the Malibu is I waited so long to buy one. Very very happy with our purchase. Buying a boat during the pandemic had its own set of challenges but while I was waiting on the 10 hour service I met the owner of the company, he spent almost 45 minutes talking and listening to what I had to say. I was very impressed he spent the time to show me some things on the boat I had not seen yet and he shared his personal experiences with me. Me like I was buying a new 150,000 boat. They all were very kind and friendly. Couldnt ask for better service. They took the tribal decals and buffed and polished the sides and they did an awesome job. Extremely professional people work at mid Indiana marine.

I bought my first Malibu in 1995. It was a used Euro F3 in yellow. I remember telling the dealer in Columbus that they should put a stern thruster under the swim platform for docking and backing. He told me that once I was used to the inboard I would never need it. My second Malibu was a 1999 Response LX my brother and I bought new and had built to spec. We toured the Malibu factory in Tennessee and watched them rig the motor in our boat right after it came out of the mold. Cathy was our tour guide, (she passed of cancer some time ago now). Yellow was not an option for anything but the Corvette boat that year so we paid a $400.00 upcharge to get it in yellow. It was one of only two yellow Responses that Malibu built that year, (the following year it was once again a standard color). I bought yellow and white ripstop nylon and created an extended Bimini for floating in the cove and swimming. I will most likely do that again for my new boat in the off season.Funny how ideas you have work there way into the lineup eventually. So Ive had 3 boats in my life and all of them have been Malibus. I believe in the brand because its the innovator of the industry and because of the people. My current Malibu is the used 2016 Wakesetter 25 LSV, (you performed gelcoat repair on last year) that came from TNT Watersports in Hendersonville, TN. Its a good dealership with great people but its a bit of a drive. My experiences with Mid-Indian Marine have been top notch and if I were ever to replace my current boat I would be very inclined to make the trip west to see you guys.I own a business and I can tell you that your follow up email to our phone call is the kind of marketing that makes a business successful! Made an appointment to have our MXZ un wintrized on May 6th. Clint was very helpful. I dropped the boat off at 7:50am and Clint was there to accept it. I asked him to have it done by noon as the 6th was our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Shannon and Nathan keep me up to date as the morning went on. We bought a new Malibu from George at Mid-Indiana Marine this past summer and we couldn't be happier. Best boat buying experience I have ever had! We live in Utah and found the boat on boat trader. The salesman was great to work with, he was there 24/7 to answer all of our questions. We even had his personal cell number so we could call him at any time. They worked with our bank to take care of all the financing. They even took our boat on trade and were very fair with the price. They sent us photos and videos of the boat we were buying. The service department made changes we requested and made sure the boat was ready for our higher elevation. They made the scary experience of buying a boat on line very comfortable. The owner of the dealership even drove seven hours each way to meet us to exchange boats, we had his personal cell number also. The boat looked amazing, like brand new! This dealership is awesome!
